About Arcoiris
Miranda House had the first queer collective set up in North Campus, Delhi University, after the decriminalization verdict in 2018. Being a gender minority college, our queer community has always been a crucial part of the queer rights movement. After a hiatus of two years, we return stronger than ever in 2025, as Arcoiris, Spanish for 'rainbow'. It is our goal to ensure that MH becomes and remains a safe, inclusive space for the queer community within its walls.

Core Values
Empowerment
At ARCOIRIS MHQC, our vision is to create a supportive space for students to express themselves, advocate for queer rights, and foster a sense of belonging within the LGBTQ+ community. We are committed to amplifying diverse voices, challenging stereotypes, and promoting understanding and acceptance across all intersections of identity.
Our core values revolve around inclusivity, authenticity, and advocacy. We believe in the power of education, awareness, and activism to create positive change and dismantle barriers faced by queer individuals. Join us in our mission to create a more inclusive and equitable environment for all students.
Empowering students to embrace their true selves, stand up for their rights, and cultivate a culture of respect and support is our mission. By providing resources, representation, and a platform for dialogue, we aim to inspire positive transformations and foster a sense of pride and empowerment within the student community.
